Consumers around the world continue to reject GM foods. Now that gatekeepers (retailers, certifiers and food processors) are increasingly intent on eliminating use of GM animal feed, the demand for meat and dairy products that are free of GM feed is growing dramatically.
New Zealand, like many other countries, does not grow GM crops. The opportunities for New Zealand exporters to leverage off the GM Free status of the country’s productive land have become stronger still.
